C1870 Antique Closed back Crescent Moon Pendant
Rose cut foiled Diamonds and cushion cut Rubies
Set in 14k yellow gold
Largest oval cut Rose cut Diamond measures 6.5mmx5mm
As the Diamonds are Rose cut and foiled, the traditional calculation of carat weight and clarity is not applicable, as the stones would need to be unset and the foiling removed, for an accurate assessment. However the 
Diamonds are bright and lively
Dutch hallmarks for 14k Gold are represented by the oak leaf which was stamped on the pin and clasp. 
We have used the clasp within the bail, retaining an oak leaf stamp.
The oak leaf was used to represent Dutch 14k Gold from 1853-1905
Crescent measures 24mm long x 22mm wide excluding Gold bail
Converted from an antique crescent brooch to hang as a pendant
